Honest opinion: The Way of Kings by Brandon Sanderson.

When I read this book, it made me come alives in ways I had never experienced before. I have been reading since I was 4 and I am 21 now. I also have an extremely vivid imagination and often imagine myself in the setting of a book and can sometimes even connect to the characters enough to imagine myself with them. But never had I felt anything on this level before. The characters in this book are so vivid I almost mistook them for people I actually know. No book has ever had a passage that made me cry before, but this one did. It is a moment when the main character makes a decision that will pit him and his only friends against certain death, just because it is the right thing to do. Even on rereads when I know what is coming, it STILL makes me cry, and my heart feels like it is bursting with pride. I was devastates when I finished it; I never wanted to leave this world or characters. Nothing short of divine.
