I was a major coomer as a young teenager and frequently had surreal and deranged fantasies about most people I spoke to. Even then I was able to identify this as a moral issue, as well as a social issue because it made it difficult to interact with others, so I took steps to fix it which often led to more issues. The solution I came to was to purposefully traumatize myself into a form of pseudo-asexuality, then I considered self castration (although I did not follow up on it). That worked well enough to deal with social aspects, but into my middle and late teenage years I believed that I was gay. I would consider these as all one action, even if they spanned years, just because of how tightly interwoven they are.
