I don't like AI. It is going to replace many artists (writers included) because the capitalist class will want to cut costs and then publish it under a real name. AI will take on many cognitive tasks and will render people useless in the economy. AI can replace human function but it does not replace the touch of the Soul on everything the human does.

A decade ago AI music got to the point that AI lit/art is now (actually further) and has not progressed since. AI has not actually progressed in quite some time, music was first because computer music had been working towards automation and AI for nearly 4 decades and AI could just be plugged into the existing tooling which spoke like it did. The advancements of the past decade have been almost completely in getting it to be able to talk in human language and in visual language, which it is still not great at and in speed which is purely brute force because AI has not actually improved.

AI image generation isnt plagiarism. This was figured out in 2011 with the Shepherd Fairy Obama Hope lawsuit. That lawsuit determined you can take whatever you want, run a photoshop filter, and its yours now. AI image generation is far more complex and removed from its original training data than that. At some point, that being perhaps around 50% it's likely someone would take notice of an AI post, or the AI posts would begin replying to each other.

For this reason 4chan shitposters cannot lose their job to AI. Also consider that 4chan shitposters do not make a salary for their lulzy nine to five work at home job.
