I object to the myth of the autistic bookish woman. She does not exist, if she ever did. All the women at grad school are happy giggling skanks who can't seem to get over the sheer elation of getting to prolong being in high school indefinitely. Women in college are basically just unemployed irresponsible girls having lunch with friends every day and getting railed in the shitter every night. They do not love their subject, at most they will engage with it lazily to assert some identity on twitter in order to feel good or to be part of a certain social set.

For a woman to buck against this utter paradise for the female brain, she'd have to be truly anomalous.
