Read parts of it. He gets pretty wild at the end of ways to save humanity. There's also a few parts where he makes the gay nihilistic atheism statement that actually nothing matters and we're just delusional thinking meaning exists. I didn't think it was that bad of a book from what I read though

my issues with it are that he tries to bring all of human history under one worldview and doesnt address inconsistencies or defend that worldview against questions that any good reader should have, and then vomits marketing material from tech companies as the way the immediate future will go. i would be interested in well thought out globohomo apologia but homo deus is fanfiction-tier.

maybe as an intro to reading and thinking beyond personal mattes but its contents arent good.
his ideas arent novel and the historic examples he uses to support his claims are very much skewed in his favour.
All in all a book lacking in rigour and any light critical reading will make it fall apart.
