They will sometimes have editions that Amazon doesn't carry but besides that, it's pretty grim. Most stores have over half of their space dedicated to home decor and board games, the other half is YA and white genocide advocacy with a couple shelves at best that has anything interesting.

Fuck Indigo. The company started because a bored wife had her rich husband buy her a flagship location and then use his company to buy up all other retailers and/or drive them out (e.g. Cole's, Smith's Books, etc). It's not like the price of books went up but Chapters (became Indigo) was able to gain a monopoly and assert massive influence not only over physical availability but publishing trends (e.g. denying shelf-space and selective promotion, going along with Heather's whims, etc). They're the absolute worst and the only time I ever buy from them is when someone gives me a gift card that can only be used there.
