The New Testament, as I am orthodox. If not that, an anthology of poetry similar to what Bolaño used to do.

If you mean, "in addition to the Bible," then probably my Astor edition of the complete works of Geoffrey Chaucer--otherwise, the Bible, but it is a difficult decision. I think the Bible is the only book I can consistently read and reread. I thought about anthologies or authors with complete works which would be fairly diverse material, but it is difficult.

the dictionary, has every word in it you'd reasonably ever read in any english book, what more should you need?

>> No.23129218

Not Christian but probably the Bible. If so many people can derive meaning from it and have it spark so much debate over a 1000 years I'm sure there is something to dig up and think about. Though I'd prefer a Vulgate with English so I can practice my Latin too. Though it'd be a pain in the ass to carry.
I have many other books I enjoy but I don't think any that are possibly very rereadable ad infinitum.

Blasphemous claim. Go to hell. Who are you to judge me and to tell me what I deserve and what I don't? God will judge me.
