It's difficult to have a guilty pleasure when it takes you more than a week to finish it
With that said, I do feel somewhat guilty in regards to how much I enjoy silly oulipo novels that don't really go anywhere (such as Queneau's the Sunday of life)

>> No.23119075

I have read dozens of Warhammer 40k novels and enjoyed (almost) all of them.

I have no guilty pleasures. I've made myself hate the things that I decided to be subpar in quality.

Matthew Reilly. Australian author who writes fast paced action adventure books. (Indiana Jones/Dan Brown sort of themes.) He intentionally writes in a style that is easy to read so you can just let yourself get absorbed in the story. A good palete cleanser between more complex literature.
