When will you self-congratulatory midwits put on your big-boy pants and realize that much of what this 190-IQ Chad wrote was satire for the sake of self-preservation in a time of religious persecution? Imagine thinking that this towering intellect didn't arrive at all your little gotchas himself.

This.
His correspondence with the catholic church is so frank, and he died under suspicious circumstances.

he literally died from all the particles in his lungs from inhaling them during his work

The Church eventually banned his books, which should be another clue that nothing was what it seemed with his theological "proofs."

of course this Parmenides plagiarist was cunning enough to add "but, God started it" after removing every ounce of God from his system said. it worked, just like saying no homo after fucking the shit out of some twink works.

Descartes was likely an atheist who only argued for the existence of God because of the times or rather the society (French Catholic) he emerged from.

is there any proof of that?

No, it's of course speculative. It naturally emerges from hints within his work. The idea is also not unique to me, OP too is refering to the same judgement of Descartes when writing about his supposed "satire for the sake of self-preservation in a time of religious persecution".

Funny, I'm a Catholic and never believed he was actually one himself. His arguments are simply awful, an insult to anyone of even modest intelligence. His philosophy's insistance on the subject cannot serve anything but an agenda, because it's ludicrous. All of post-cartesian philosophy is more or less a scam.

That was Spinoza, senpai.
