Pick a concrete image - something your experience with your senses like “the ocean“ or “a fight“ or “laundry.” Write as many sensory details as you can think of which would surround this image. My favorite twist is to pick the vowels and consonants that most exemplify the image - maybe for the ocean that’s hissing sh and ch, and wide oo and oh. Think of as many words as you can that are related to the image that have these sounds.
