/lit/, if you ever had the chance to make a movie about your family (parents & siblings), what kind of special family dynamics would the movie be about?

That would be the worst movie ever I am a self hating imbecile from a family of people perfectly content with being imbeciles, my genes are successful through pure wasp culture. Besides working hard and being good with our money and being generally attractive there is absolutely nothing of note about us, we are nonreligious nonpolitical particularly uncommitted believers of popular opinion.

but I think in modern literature and films - especially a family like that with nothing of note about them is the perfect start for a great film and book. dont you think? where would the story go if you think about it further?

There are many institutions geared at amateur filmmakers, film clubs, etc., you can just go there and learn and make your film with some gudance and assistance.
There's a quote by the guy in your pic that I read in some essay, where he expressed in a very raw way just how filmmaking is simple and almost necessary. It was a bit like the more famous quote of his, "All you need for a movie is a gun and a girl", but it was different. I really can't remember it, for some reason, maybe I wrote it down somewhere.
