Boomers, mainly. In England there was a massive series written by some hack TV presenter which sold crazy amounts. Now you see whole sets in charity shops everywhere. They're the kind of books you pick up once, read it for the qucik endorphins, then discard never to think about again.Very lucrative industry. Much like the billions of police dramas that get aired on TV every year. Boomers love to consume that kind of content.
