No, the Boarding Schools were Hellish nightmare realms for poor Native children ripped from their families and worldviews and inserted into the jaws of capitalism by way of Christian brainwashing and Boarding School sexuality. It is a horror. The nuns who did this were very obviously a bunch of Lesbians taken away with fantasies of controlling the man-order.
