Hello, fellow lit users, I'm looking for a book that capture perfectly the life of NEET loser on NEETbux, need to be modern, I've already read Notes from the Underground, but it was more of incelish novel than a NEET novel per se. The novel in my mind tells a story of oldish NEET on NEETbux as he goes his day and having all type of antics and misadventure with colorful characters.

At least with that there's a relatable premise you can diverge from. Most stories are about unlikely or remarkable circumstances. Though I'll never forget the planet in Hitchhiker's guide to the Galaxy where people just read books about normal people's lives that begin and end at arbitrary points.

The novel of Welcome to the NHK is the most accurate to the NEET mentality at that age, where you're still not sure that's what you're going to be for life.

It's not well written enough to be considered proper literature, but it's the most accurate and pure representation of a hiki. The author himself regressed back into NEETdom after publishing it.

I loved that book and the movie. It reminds me so much of my NEET years bumming around on the dole, drinking and doing drugs, living in a doss house.
