This post has made me put Lovecraft to the top of my reading list. I always felt that WW2 was the point at which J publishers constrained what Whites consumed in entertainment and here Lovecraft is spelling out my exact observation. He is our guy.

These points are elaborated at great length in this and other letters.
According to Lovecraft, Hitler is right to suppress Jewish influence
in German culture, since ‘no settled & homogeneous nation ought
(a) to admit enough of a decidedly alien race-stock to bring about
an actual alteration in the dominant ethnic composition, or (b)
tolerate the dilution of the culture-stream with emotional & intel-
lectual elements alien to the original cultural impulse’.

Quoted from "A Dreamer and a Visionary: H.P. Lovecraft in His Time", which funnily enough is the same source that wikipedia appears to be using to justify the claim that he was "decrying both his prior political beliefs and the rising tide of fascism". Always funny to see the left trip over itself in lies.
