The Zhuangzi has a parable about an incel tree:

I think it was Ledi Sayadaw who said "eat less, sleep less, read less, work less" when asked for advice on the spiritual life. There's something similar here, basically the superior life is simpler and unencumbered. If you want to apply it to your sexual frustrations, be neither involuntarily nor voluntarily celibate, but rather just celibate as a matter of course. If you worry about it being a cope, you're stuck halfway, like if the tree were anxious to make itself useful and submit to being hacked up.

I'm no fedora tipper but you can accept this or cope. It's your choice. Stuck in time mostly refers to an extended adolescence rife with either becoming a cat lady if you're female or a funko pop collecting onions farmer if you're male. Granted not all of this is achievable for all, but making the prospect for relationships as easy as a brisk walk in the park would solve the low birthrate problem.

Framing evolution as a game you win by playing longer is a big assumption that mostly doesn't make people happier, but does cause their genetic material to circulate longer. It's just as likely from a cosmic perspective that "the point" of life is to throw your hands up and opt out.
Or that there is no coherent "the point" and some life repeats and others don't and neither is innately more preferable.
