I'm looking for a book which tries sincerely to be cool and edgy but instead comes off as super cringe while also being very enjoyable.
I want similar levels of eye roll inducing tryhard edginess as pic related.
I'm very serious! The author had to have written the book with complete earnestness and authenticity... like an almost childlike lack of self awareness.

Try John Green's stuff, really fits your description, wouldn't call it enjoyable tho
