I read King Warrior Magician Lover and I kinda found it trite and unhelpful.

I don't want any blithe, drive by advice. Some book that really helps you understand what manliness essentially is, and how to center yourself in it and reconnect to it.

If you'd been more in line with the first guy's suggestion and had any sense of masculinity beyond late 20th century American culture you'd realize that traditionally women had been defined as analogous to practical reason, men as analogous to theoretical reason. Everything should act in line with its nature. Human beings have free will, so we can live out that nature to a greater or lesser degree, and masculinity isn't exempted from this.
