it's reddit, sure. it's a touch overhyped, unfinished, perhaps? not quite as astonishing a work as it's made out, but it's definitely worthy of the canon. the prose is far from terrible, grotesque? i think it is that in the sense that it's describing a grotesque world and a grotesque man grotesquely.
