I just read Serrano's The Ultimate Flower, and it blows. The mythos he creates is completely uninteresting. The only captivating bit of this book was the talk of giants trapped in the Andes Mountains. Reading this book I felt nothing but placid boredom. I did not care about the characters (who were all basically the same) and nothing they talked about was interesting or even sensical. I felt nothing.

Nobody told me to read it. I found it on a shelf, so I read it. And I can make it to the end of a one-hundred-page-long book even if I dislike it.
