Can confirm. One Piece, despite its overrated reputation in the anime world, is an excellent story, that especially goes for pre-timeskip one piece. You won't be disappointed if you invest your time in the story, Major Payback, I watched every one of the over 1000 episodes, still being released to this day. I still am having a lot of fun keeping up with the series. Definitely on par with Lord Of the Rings in its own way, especially if you read the manga.

Manga is literature, don't let anyone tell you otherwise.
