Funny how "down for it" and "up for it" mean the same thing. Well done English.

I'm definitely in favour of collaborative efforts. There should be loads of them. The trick is finding something that will actually work.

Writing a novel for example is really unlikely to work because it will just go in six different directions and die. A book of haiku on the other hand might work assuming you had someone to filter out the pee pee poo poo. You need something where people can make individual contributions that don't need any sychronization (or not much, or the sort that arises whether you want it to or not).
