1. Breakfast of Champions.
2. Galapagos.
3. Cat's Cradle.
4. Mother Night.
5. Timequake.

Player Piano is interesting in a "see the origins of the author's thinking and style" sort of way. As a book on its own, it's somewhat of a snooze.

Slapstick was fun in its own "lol so random" way.

Using the term "Official" as if it actually means anything tells me that you're a prick.

God Bless You Mr. Rosewater...

now it's not what I think is his best....but it's my favorite.

They're Vonnegut's own ratings. Whether or not that makes the list official is another thing, of course.

They're Vonnegut's rankings from Palm Sunday.

I don't get why he doesn't give BOC an A+. :(

Maybe he got self-conscious about his drawings.

Have you ever read Breakfast of Champions more than once. The first time, when I was a teenager, it was a wonderfully fresh and exhilarating book to read. But, when I read it again, I found its style began to grate on me. So, I can see why.
