He also converted to Catholicism after being an alcoholic for years because he was afraid of death or something. Very spineless guy. Aliss at the Fire is a good starting point, as it's pretty short. From there you'll want to progress chronologically with him, since the gimmick is that he reuses / slightly alters names and themes with each of his stories, so that each book is like a different, clearer depiction of *the truth*.
That's for his novels though, not sure about his plays.

I don’t take Nobel prizes seriously anymore. First it was the peace prize, then literature, now even something as removed from politics as the physics prize is getting pozzed. Some Belarusian nobody got the literature prize, because of her libtard writing directed at the Soviet and the post-Soviet establishments.
They recently awarded a physics prize for “climate predictions” or whatever. Then there’s that Jewess who got it for the black hole radio imaging, which I can guarantee you she did not take the lead role in.

I do not for the life of me believe that we suddenly have so many whamen geniuses running around. Women in physics are glorified librarians/computers. They don’t create anything new. Their idea of a scientific paper is “the more crap I slap on it, the more convoluted it sounds, and the more papers I reference, the smarter I am.” My experience has been the exact opposite: the most impactful papers are 5-20 pages at most with little outside reference. That’s why they’re impactful in the first place; they rely on the first principles. Women rely on others, they have no principles to speak of.

I've read 300 pages of Knausgard's book about his time at the writing academy with Fosse as a teacher and his character didn't make much of an impression. I don't recall him saying anything interesting or using any interesting teaching method or making any particular impression. But in the end it's his writing that counts and I have yet to read him.

His books are best read in nynorsk, translating them to bokmål doesn't work, no one reads them in bokmål. There doesn't even exist a translation to bokmål. English and other languages wouldn't even make sense.

Nynorsk, which I would call neo-norwegian in english rather than new-norwegian, is more of an attempt to create a true norwegian language after written west norse died and danish took over. Its closer to what written west norse would be like if it didn't die and continued to evolve.
