I'm looking for books that go into the possibility to have a spiritual depth in a secular world. How do we regain the mystical and the sacred whilst still retaining reason and the scientific method? Is it even possible? And no don't give me some new age rubbish or western "buddhist" trite

Germans can't think and all their desire for republics while longing for meaning is exactly the atheist torment. Republics are not meant to be spiritual in any way, since they are a mercantile and bureaucratic tool to make the bureaucrats and business men the ruling class.
At the end of the day,a theists have to acknowledge that there is no meaning in the business world and if they want meaning democracy has to be destroyed.

Also Germans are so pathetic that they were 100 years late on the secular enlightenment kek.

What you're looking for is "appeal to emotion". I have never gotten an explanation for what spirituality even is better said than an emotional reaction pertaining to one's religious beliefs. And the actual beliefs are irrelevant.

Go to a classical music concert
It connects you with the sacred and has the community aspect of a mass
