I read one of her early short stories about a girl who hires a guy to come and trim her tree (no, it's not a metaphor, it's her actual tree, in her garden). He comes early in the morning and she peeks out at him and he stands and cries for a few minutes before he starts. It's a weird story but good, a bit like Raymond Carver. But it was just the one story; I couldn't find any English translations of her collections. Plus she's a babe (or she was).
