The prose was this, the prose was that. Every time I see a thread on some author someone describes their "prose" usually with one word. Noone in real life, when discussing books they like or dislike, ever say "I thought the *prose* was dreadful," or "I really admired the *prose.*"
>I dont care what words normies use
Okay go find a book review written by a professional and see how many times they say "the prose" in their review. It will probably be zero times.

This is something I've only ever seen on lit and it's fucking retarded.

I’ve seen the word prose many times in amazon reviews. Pretty common word in book reviews lol

Yeah, you get constantly triggered because your prose is terrible.

Amazon reviews aren't professional reviews.

They’re also written by normies, though. And you said they didn’t use the word.

>Noone in real life
I confess that I've never read Amazon book reviews so I suppose I'm wrong that this only happens on lit.

Your argument is irrelevant because you used a pepe

I can see how someone with your writing "style" would be violently opposed to the concept of prose.

Prose is a midwit word. When someone says the prose was good, I want to say “you think the writing of a professional writer is good?”. Almost every person who uses the word can’t explain what makes good prose or bad prose other than banal statements like it was boring or I didn’t like it

Read Faulkner, Joyce or Melville if you want to know what prose is.
You clearly haven't, which is why you're capable of such a fuckwit post.

What word should I use instead then?
