IJ deals with this quite well and being fiction is able to handle it with more nuance than nonfiction. The blind pill books in general should be of interest as long as you do not take the idea of a "blind pill" seriously.

I sort of miss the blind pill anon despite his being completely ridiculous. I am fairly certain he was also the burger punk anon and reasonably certain he was the thanatophobia anon.
