This idiot got so close to the idea that reality has a structure that cannot be represented with isomorphic language, but nevertheless a structure made of smaller bits of sorts not picturable, and then instead of making this further discovery, dropped the project stillborn and ran away to beat schoolchildren and shove pencils up their nose. It was actually Russell in 1918 who took Wittgenstein's discovery seriously and actually went further in his analysis of quantificational and belief facts in his lectures on logical atomism. Then Wittgenstein comes back in the 40s and peddles his even-stupided OLP crap with the incredibly stupid use-theory of language and the also stupid private language argument. His bullshit was refuted very shortly after by Gricean pragmatics and Kripkean possible world semantics. The fact this idiot inspires a cultish following is a sad proof that people favor style over substance.
