1 He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High,
who abides in the shadow of the Almighty,
2 will say to the Lord, “My refuge and my fortress;
my God, in whom I trust.”
3 For he will deliver you from the snare of the fowler
and from the deadly pestilence;
4 he will cover you with his pinions,
and under his wings you will find refuge;
his faithfulness is a shield and buckler.
5 You will not fear the terror of the night,
nor the arrow that flies by day,
6 nor the pestilence that stalks in darkness,
nor the destruction that wastes at noonday.
7 A thousand may fall at your side,
ten thousand at your right hand;
but it will not come near you.
8 You will only look with your eyes
and see the recompense of the wicked.
9 Because you have made the Lord your refuge,[a]
the Most High your habitation,
10 no evil shall befall you,
no scourge come near your tent.
11 For he will give his angels charge of you
to guard you in all your ways.
12 On their hands they will bear you up,
lest you dash your foot against a stone.
13 You will tread on the lion and the adder,
the young lion and the serpent you will trample under foot.
14 Because he cleaves to me in love, I will deliver him;
I will protect him, because he knows my name.
15 When he calls to me, I will answer him;
I will be with him in trouble,
I will rescue him and honor him.
16 With long life I will satisfy him,
and show him my salvation

Matthew 20:1-16

1 “For the kingdom of heaven is like a landowner who went out early in the morning to hire workers for his vineyard. 2 He agreed to pay them a denarius for the day and sent them into his vineyard.

3 “About nine in the morning he went out and saw others standing in the marketplace doing nothing. 4 He told them, ‘You also go and work in my vineyard, and I will pay you whatever is right.’ 5 So they went.

“He went out again about noon and about three in the afternoon and did the same thing. 6 About five in the afternoon he went out and found still others standing around. He asked them, ‘Why have you been standing here all day long doing nothing?’

7 “‘Because no one has hired us,’ they answered.

“He said to them, ‘You also go and work in my vineyard.’

8 “When evening came, the owner of the vineyard said to his foreman, ‘Call the workers and pay them their wages, beginning with the last ones hired and going on to the first.’

9 “The workers who were hired about five in the afternoon came and each received a denarius. 10 So when those came who were hired first, they expected to receive more. But each one of them also received a denarius. 11 When they received it, they began to grumble against the landowner. 12 ‘These who were hired last worked only one hour,’ they said, ‘and you have made them equal to us who have borne the burden of the work and the heat of the day.’

13 “But he answered one of them, ‘I am not being unfair to you, friend. Didn’t you agree to work for a denarius? 14 Take your pay and go. I want to give the one who was hired last the same as I gave you. 15 Don’t I have the right to do what I want with my own money? Or are you envious because I am generous?’

16 “So the last will be first, and the first will be last.”

From Genesis 19:
[30] And Lot went up out of Zoar, and dwelt in the mountain, and his two daughters with him; for he feared to dwell in Zoar: and he dwelt in a cave, he and his two daughters.
[31] And the firstborn said unto the younger, Our father is old, and there is not a man in the earth to come in unto us after the manner of all the earth:
[32] Come, let us make our father drink wine, and we will lie with him, that we may preserve seed of our father.
[33] And they made their father drink wine that night: and the firstborn went in, and lay with her father; and he perceived not when she lay down, nor when she arose.
[34] And it came to pass on the morrow, that the firstborn said unto the younger, Behold, I lay yesternight with my father: let us make him drink wine this night also; and go thou in, and lie with him, that we may preserve seed of our Father.
[35] And they made their father drink wine that night also: and the younger arose, and lay with him; and he perceived not when she lay down, nor when she arose.
[36] Thus were both the daughters of Lot with child by their father.

>Matthew 27:50-54 Jesus, when he had cried again with a loud voice, yielded up the ghost. And, behold, the veil of the temple was rent in twain from the top to the bottom; and the earth did quake, and the rocks rent; And the graves were opened; and many bodies of the saints which slept arose, And came out of the graves after his resurrection, and went into the holy city, and appeared unto many. Now when the centurion, and they that were with him, watching Jesus, saw the earthquake, and those things that were done, they feared greatly, saying, Truly this was the Son of God.
>Matthew 6:26-30 Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they? Which of you by taking thought can add one cubit unto his stature? And why take ye thought for raiment? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not, neither do they spin: And yet I say unto you, That even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. Wherefore, if God so clothe the grass of the field, which to day is, and to morrow is cast into the oven, shall he not much more clothe you, O ye of little faith?
>1 Peter 1:22-25 Seeing ye have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit unto unfeigned love of the brethren, see that ye love one another with a pure heart fervently: Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever. For all flesh is as grass, and all the glory of man as the flower of grass. The grass withereth, and the flower thereof falleth away: But the word of the Lord endureth for ever. And this is the word which by the gospel is preached unto you.

How do you interpret this parable?
I view it as talking about the Jews being the first workers of the vineyard, and the Gentiles are the late comers to tilling the vineyard. And so Gentiles will reach to heaven easier than Jews.
IMO many of the gospel parables, like probably a good 30% of them, are about opening YHVH to the Gentiles.

Hello. I have a question about Christianity.
I know that Orthodox, Roman Catholic, and maybe some Protestant churches believe that the church is the spiritual Israel, and Jews who reject Christ gave up their status as the true Israel.
I heard this one Protestant pastor say that this is wrong. He is very insistent that the church and Israel are two different things. He says that genetic Jews are still the real Israel even if they reject Christ, saying that God always keeps His promises.

Now I know a lot of you will say that's retarded right away, but let me tell you his argument because I want to understand.
He talks about a passage in Ezekiel which says that Israel will be invaded by Persians and Scythians, which he says is a prophecy of the end times that hasn't happened yet, which he says will be fulfilled by Iran and Russia (he says these modern day countries correspond to Persia and Scythia in the Bible, and modern state of Israel is the real Israel in the Bible).
I think he is probably wrong but I don't know a logical argument against him. He seems to have a lot of scholarly knowledge of the Bible, even if my instincts tell me that he is probably wrong.

18 I also said to myself, “As for humans, God tests them so that they may see that they are like the animals. 19 Surely the fate of human beings is like that of the animals; the same fate awaits them both: As one dies, so dies the other. All have the same breath[c]; humans have no advantage over animals. Everything is meaningless. 20 All go to the same place; all come from dust, and to dust all return. 21 Who knows if the human spirit rises upward and if the spirit of the animal goes down into the earth?”

22 So I saw that there is nothing better for a person than to enjoy their work, because that is their lot. For who can bring them to see what will happen after them?

King Solomon has the most simple wisdom to give. I recommend everyone read the Book of Ecclesiastes. If you were non the wiser you could easily think the book came from some admirable and sensible teacher from the far east. It transcends doctrine and dogma and speaks honestly. He reigned in peace, he was loved, and he spoke to all the preists, magicians, and mystics of far off lands who came to Jerusalem. He read and understood the great texts and teachings of ancient kingdoms that are now lost. And his conclusion was that nothing makes sense. He also had 1000 wives which is pretty based if you ask me.

What do people gain from all their labors at which they toil under the sun?
Generations come and generations go, but the earth remains forever.
The sun rises and the sun sets, and hurries back to where it rises.
The wind blows to the south and turns to the north; round and round it goes, ever returning on its course.
All streams flow into the sea, yet the sea is never full. To the place the streams come from, there they return again.
All things are wearisome, more than one can say. The eye never has enough of seeing, nor the ear its fill of hearing.
What has been will be again, what has been done will be done again; there is nothing new under the sun.
Is there anything of which one can say, “Look! This is something new”? It was here already, long ago; it was here before our time.
No one remembers the former generations, and even those yet to come will not be remembered by those who follow them.

Again I looked and saw all the oppression that was taking place under the sun: I saw the tears of the oppressed— and they have no comforter; power was on the side of their oppressors— and they have no comforter.
And I declared that the dead, who had already died, are happier than the living, who are still alive.
But better than both is the one who has never been born, who has not seen the evil that is done under the sun.

Ok I'm going to try and report some of the things I've been reading, as well as some of my own personal ideas. I don't have a cohesive answer but all of this is relevant to the general question, I think. Also, I AM HIGH, so I hope it makes sense.

1. Picrel is a theme in Catholic art known as Ecclesia and Synagogue. The symbolism is very clear; pictured on the left is Lady Ecclesia the Church, she is upright and composed. Her staff representing spiritual authority is held firmly, she is crowned, denoting her temporal authority, and she holds the Holy Grail as a symbol of the new covenant (eucharist/passion). Lady Synagogue is falling away from the rock, her staff is broken, her crown has fallen, and even the Tablets, The Law of Moses, are slipping from her hands. And sinisterly, a serpent is covering her eyes, blinding her to the truth of Christ. But I think this is a pragmatic understanding of what happened, not a universal state, at least not forever. All these things clearly happened; the temple was destroyed, the great age of the Prophets ended (they themselves attest this explicitly) spiritual authority gone, Rome scattered them from Israel, temporal authority gone. And the fathers of Rabbinical Judaism are the very legalistic and mean spirited Pharisees, and NOT the Sadducees, Essenes or Zealots; moral uprightness, gone.

2. From Judaism's perspective, all these events are also significant. And the thing is, it happened before. The first Temple was destroyed by Babylon and there they were carried into captivity, but they returned and rebuilt. But the destruction of the 2nd Temple has new connotations, to them. To them, they are the only people God chose, and all other nations are outside the covenant, and the rightful order of things is for Israel to be the supreme government in the world, this is explicit in the Old Testament. For now, they are deposed, but just like the first time they will rebuild the Temple and this will usher in the age of their Messiah. It doesn't take a genius to figure out who their Messiah (Antichrist) will be, or what a Jewish run world would look like. Keep an eye out when they rebuild the temple, and buckle up.
Also, to them, us Goy (nations) are in the most idolatrous state we have ever been in, because we profess to know their God, but place other beings alongside him who share divinity. The Trinity. I'm serious, Rabbis are incredibly disgusted by the doctrine of the Divinity of Jesus, it is the most grotesque and perverse thing imaginable. It's akin to how a married woman who sleeps around is far far worse than an unmarried woman who does the same thing. We gentiles profess to love him and yet pervert him etc etc. They hate, hate, hate Jesus I promise you. They say he is boiling in feces in Gehinnom (Hell, but really purgatory, Jews don't have an eternal Hell) So it makes sense poetically to them, the last exile is the most drastic and longest, and their redemption will be the most glorious.

>> No.22276318

>>22276314
3. Christians do not have to keep to the 613 Laws of Leviticus and Deuteronomy. We don't circumcise, eat kosher, wear certain clothing, etc. This is because we are not Israelites, Paul was the first to really realize Christianity was for gentiles, not Jews. As he prayed in a synagogue Christ appeared and told him to leave Jerusalem and go to the gentiles, because the Jews "will not listen to you." But he himself kept to the Laws, because he's an Israelite. The Old Covenant, Laws and Promises are not gone, Jesus says so himself. It's simply that the old law, covenant and promise is for Jews alone. The promise is that if they keep these laws they will have Israel and govern the world.

4. In most readings of Revelations it is taught that the total end of the world will not follow immediately after the Antichrist, some even suggest that there are 1000 years after he comes in which the church and human civilization reach it's zenith.

5. The tribe of Levi was set aside at Mount Sinai to be always the Priests of God, they alone performed the sacrifices in the 1st and 2nd Temple, they alone were allowed in the Holy of Holy's. They didn't own land, or work. This line still exists, it is the tribes of Judah, Benjamin and a small part of Levi that were not lost.

Here's how I piece it all together. God will keep his promise to Israel, they will return to Israel and Rebuild the Temple and will govern the world. This will be done through their Messiah/Antichrist. It will seem as a catastrophe to Christians. But I think God will work through this, and through some mystery or prophecy I do not know will perform a miracle and convert a large portion of Jews to Jesus, finally. They will subvert their own global government. And so Jews will run the whole world, under a Christian faith, the Levites will be the Universal Shepard's. It will be a golden age and Christ will be believed in in every single last place on the earth (this is why the initial evil global domination is important, it sets the framework for it's redemption). Humanity will reach it's zenith. But just like always, like they did every single time before, the Jews who have the capacity for the most Godliness, have the capacity for the most evil. Jesus himself was a Jew, all the apostles, and Mary. They have that blood, for the golden age it will be as if we had again the apostles leading the church. And they will, after a golden age, begin to decay and pervert Christianity to an unimaginable level. It will be like the days of Noah. They knew the Lord back then, all of them, but they were horrible. It will be like that. The rape and sacrifice of children could be part of Christian practise. Then the world ends.

This is a very popular verse to be quoted, but the context is even better.
Any idea who the "she" is? It's Israel, the nation. The prophet Ezekiel is in the middle of a chudjak rant about Israeli foreign policy.
I love it so much, he's literally me.

The church does not take the place of Israel - ever.
Israel according to the Word of trouble Lord is forever.
The church is just gentiles being grafted into Israel by Jesus Christ redeeming them for Himself.

Romans 11:11-31

English Standard Version

Gentiles Grafted In

11So I ask, did they stumble in order that they might fall? By no means! Rather, through their trespasssalvation has come to the Gentiles, so as to make Israel jealous.12Now if their trespass means riches for the world, and if their failure means riches for the Gentiles, how much more will their full inclusion[a]mean!

13Now I am speaking to you Gentiles. Inasmuch then asI am an apostle to the Gentiles, I magnify my ministry14in order somehow to make my fellow Jews jealous, andthus save some of them.15For if their rejection meansthe reconciliation of the world, what will their acceptance mean but life from the dead?16If the dough offered as firstfruits is holy, so is the whole lump, and if the root is holy, so are the branches.

17But ifsome of the branches were broken off, and you,although a wild olive shoot, were grafted in among the others and now share in the nourishing root[b]of the olive tree,18do not be arrogant toward the branches. If you are, remember it is not you who support the root, but the root that supports you.19Then you will say, “Branches were broken off so that I might be grafted in.”20That is true. They were broken off because of their unbelief, but youstand fast through faith. Sodo not become proud, butfear.21For if God did not spare the natural branches, neither will he spare you.22Note then the kindness and the severity of God: severity toward those who have fallen, but God's kindness to you,provided you continue in his kindness. Otherwiseyou too will be cut off.23Andeven they, if they do not continue in their unbelief, will be grafted in, for God has the power to graft them in again.24For if you were cut from what is by nature a wild olive tree, and grafted, contrary to nature, into a cultivated olive tree, how much more will these, the natural branches, be grafted back into their own olive tree.

The Mystery of Israel's Salvation

25Lest you be wise in your own sight, I do not want you to be unaware of this mystery, brothers:[c]a partial hardening has come upon Israel,until the fullness of the Gentiles has come in.26And in this way all Israel will be saved, as it is written,

“The Deliverer will comefrom Zion,
he will banish ungodliness from Jacob”;
27“and this will be mycovenant with them
when I take away their sins.”

28As regards the gospel, they are enemies for your sake. But as regards election, they arebeloved for the sake of their forefathers.29For the gifts andthe calling of God are irrevocable.30For just asyou were at one time disobedient to God but now have received mercy because of their disobedience,

Because the ones that reject Christ in unbelief are removed from Israel.

"Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord.
20 And he shall send Jesus Christ, which before was preached unto you:
21 Whom the heaven must receive until the times of restitution of all things, which God hath spoken by the mouth of all his holy prophets since the world began.

22 For Moses truly said unto the fathers, A prophet shall the Lord your God raise up unto you of your brethren, like unto me; him shall ye hear in all things whatsoever he shall say unto you.
23 And it shall come to pass, that every soul, which will not hear that prophet, shall be destroyed from among the people."
(Acts 3:19-23)

That's why Paul wrote in Romans 11:26 that God will turn away all ungodliness from Jacob, because it means that whoever was unbelieving was removed from that identity. Meanwhile, those who are saved are part of God's people, and there is only one of these, not two.

"But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light;
10 Which in time past were not a people, but are now the people of God: which had not obtained mercy, but now have obtained mercy."
