What books should I read to get a good, in-depth overview of Jungian psychology? Jung wrote like a million fucking books.

If I’ve done preliminary research on Jung through articles and videos, should I still bother reading the beginner tier books, or would I be better off skipping straight to Archetypes and the Collective Unconscious?

Honestly best way to understand Jung is to read Henri Ellenbergers The Discovery of the Unconscious. Analytical psychology can only be understood correctly when viewed through the lens of history of the dynamic psychology.

It is definitely worth it to read Jung, but you have to take him in its historical context
