Simple essay is simple.

Relate the things the government does in 1984 to REAL LIFE things and events the government of America is doing right fucking now.

Take things that are not quite being done (or technology that doesnt quite exist) and draw parallels.

End your essay with the conclusion that the US government is illegitimate, violating your rights, and needs to be overthrown. Breifly state the common practice of making kids read 1984 in school subverts the message of the book and makes sure kids wont draw conclusions from it that teachers (government employees) dont want them to draw
