I've lost my attention span and ability to focus. I can't read more than two pages before my eyes start to blur and then I check my phone. I used to be an avid reader when I was NEET status years ago. I can't read for long and I can abrely retain any of the information that I do read. Is it over bros, will I ever get it back?

Yeah it's temporary. You can change.
The same thing happened to me and I realized that it was because my tastes had changed. I was reading books I no longer really enjoyed

Put your phone out of arm's reach. The part of your brain that wants to check your phone is too lazy you make you stand up and walk anywhere.

You will get it back when you uninstall social media, throw away your television, and set up a quiet place where you can read undisturbed.

You can start the attention curve again if you want to, when you have the energy for attention. Maybe you have not lost your attention span and it has only narrowed to a form in which you can give attention a shorter period of time. There is the path open of experimenting on yourself whether the attention span decreases by reading more books, and making a possible conclusion that you have read enough books and that life is about more than only reading books.

I was trying to read this afternoon. I fell asleep after four pages. It was not boring or anything but my mind is all screwed like you oh-pee.
