Did anyone read this? I thought it gave fascinating insights into how life was like for a lot of millennials, he talks about how his generation were among the last to have a normal childhood. Also how much he supported the imperialist American government and many in that generation supported the war in Iraq and joined the military at that time. It really makes sense with how imperialist millennials turned out now. It all came crashing down for him ofc when he saw that it was hurting it's own citizens as well.

The way millennials turned their back on Snowden was wild to see. There's something about millennials that is quite vicious. Perhaps more than with any other generation. What is really interesting about Millenial progressives is that they came of age in a time when being progressive meant opposing the Iraq War and the Patriot Act, disbelieving the security state's lies about the WMDs, and advocating for a restrained foreign policy based on a deeper moral calculus than "we need to spread democracy." The 1% gets to keep their money and investing in political lobby, but they must shill wokeness. The culture wars that came from it don't attest the failure of Occupy Wall Street, but its success.
