How would you write a story about someone who really really wants to punch women in the face?

"I want to punch women!!" Is a manga about a teenager who has dark impulse; which is to punch women.
Is there any concievable universe in which such a premise can actually work?

The manga obviously fumbled the premise, which is why I'm asking you for any thoughts on how you would execute it?

This is actually a great premise.

As the story begins, he's haunted by his dark desire to punch women. To make the protagonist sympathetic to the audience, he repeatedly encounters stereotypical annoying woman behavior. Finally, he gives in to his overpowering impulse and punches an annoying thot right in her stupid face. He's elated; his thirst has been sated for the time being. Soon after, he goes on a punching spree and punches every woman who slightly annoys him. He never gets caught. He never faces justice. He's mad with power. Their weak, feminine faces are no match for his powerful fists. He becomes physically fit, training and using punching bags to hone his powers. He's never been more fulfilled.
Then, one day, he goes too far. He punches his crush, a young woman who was previously the subject of his romantic musings; the girl who brought magic into his life, whose beauty and grace brought him joy even as he admired her from afar, dreaming of the day when he'd have the courage to speak to her. He's devastated. He realizes he must change his ways. Women are annoying, but you can't punch them. He re-directs his energy to MMA tournaments and finds success in punching men instead. After his latest match, he notices a beautiful young woman in the audience. It's his crush. She is impressed by his athleticism, and he finally asks her out on a date. The two live happily ever after. Possible sequels to the original story could be about the challenges of domestic in the context of having strong urges to punch women, or encountering another young man whose urges to punch women are uncontrollable and whom the hero must defeat in combat to rescue his crush.

Dude, that's honestly what I was thinking of.
Only I came up with a character which could embody one side of the philosophical conflict somewhat.
A girl who ,after getting punched by the MC discovers she actually quite likes getting hit.
She could start out by being pretty tame and timid but getting wilder and more deranged the more the MC gives into the impulse to hit her.

This character could throw a real wrench in the the protagonists life by threatening to tattle if he doesn't have rough sex or whatever.
She could try and fuck up the relationship the MC tries to have with the only woman he doesn't want to pummel.
Perhaps; making the MC make the a horrible choice in the 2nd or 3rd act.

Maybe he hits her in front of his crush ; which could cost him everything

Incel best friend who encourages main characters impulses

Framing the story like Death Note.
This guy just slaps the shit out of female bullies and cunts in general.
A manhunt begins for our slapping vigilant. The faculty, the girls and their boyfriend's want to catch whoever has been slapping the shit out of the popular girls.

The main characters love interest is either the only woman who he doesn't feel the urge to punch or perhaps the opposite.
Maybe he gets his feelings all mixed up and feels the need to punch her even though he loves her

Somehow I can see a Stockholm chick being a good idea

Copycat slappings start. The loser underclass of the school wants their revenge. Maybe this climaxes in "the night of the loud slaps"

Maybe to show that beating the shit out of girls is not A Okay, the MC gets pimp slapped by a big Black man once and finally gets what it's really like.
