I'm 31. I feel no different than when I was 23-24, except for more experience. It often doesn't seem real that I am 31. I would say that with the emphasis everyone puts on age, we strongly anticipate entrance into our 30s to be a revolution of sorts. Internally I don't feel that way at all.

This hasn't been my experience. In my 20s my failures felt catastrophic, but now that I'm in my 30s I have learned to accept who I am. If you can learn to accept yourself, even if you're a failure in most respects, you will finally find some peace and joy in life.
