Any good books (fiction or nonfiction) with a 30 year old protagonist?

I'm in my early 30s. Life feels a little different once you reach 30.

I am not the guy you responded to, but I would agree. 30s is ideal age for men. Not as retarded as 20 yr olds, respected by older men (if you can hold yourself right). Women also naturally respect you more as well. 30s is confidence.

True, but if you haven't done anything with your life by then it's pure suicide fuel, every day is filled with dread and regret.

The protagonist in Oblomov is 31 or 32.

I'm 31. I feel no different than when I was 23-24, except for more experience. It often doesn't seem real that I am 31. I would say that with the emphasis everyone puts on age, we strongly anticipate entrance into our 30s to be a revolution of sorts. Internally I don't feel that way at all.

This hasn't been my experience. In my 20s my failures felt catastrophic, but now that I'm in my 30s I have learned to accept who I am. If you can learn to accept yourself, even if you're a failure in most respects, you will finally find some peace and joy in life.
