Idk about name of the wind but Pillars of the Earth is extremely long and doesn’t really have any twists or turns, after the first 200 pages you’ve seen everything you’re going to get. It won’t require much mental effort to get through, kinda like a TV show in book format. If you’re looking for that or you’re a new reader, it’s a decent enough story

Rothfuss I've heard of and see everywhere. Author is a cuck but i think the first book is fine enough.

The Name of the Wind has solid prose but keep in mind you'll never get to read the story's conclusion.

Rothfuss is a hack, go with Follett.
