I do not think it to be in the vein of this thread but Andrae Nordskog's We Bankers falls into this category. I consider it to be his life achievement because it establishes his position in a huge lawsuit that he instigated and won. There is a foundation that maintains access to his writings and this particular one is absent. I only know of its existence because I have a physical copy.
