Nope. Pen and paper always for the first draft(s). I tend to write significantly better that way.

Hipsters were all over typewriters and they didn't write any masterpieces thoughbeit

Is there a way to check and see if this is true? I wouldn't know where to begin with this research, maybe /mu/?
I know lana del rey wrote a poetry book, and if I had to guess I bet she either wrote it with fountain pen or typewriter.

But I would like to know who still uses one and what has been the best thing to emerge from this kind of machine. OPs image is from a documentary and John Mayer says he uses one to write lyrics but whether or not he is a hipster or whether or not what he writes is any good... I don't know.

Pretentious? I use bic cristals and legal pads, so if that's pretentious I'd have to imagine you are using crayola to write..

There is a reason they make you stop using crayons at some point...all part of the plan to make meek lil worker sheep and bud, you fell for it...

Honestly I enjoy my typewriter because I can larp when I use it and it has less distractions than a computer. Plus I think it looks cool and makes a fun noise
