His writing style pulled me in for a while but it does become overbearing and annoying once you spot his false dramatics. The book itself and the things it speaks of is absolutely fascinating and spellbinding, however. I loved Reality, too, by Kingsley, and think that it might be better to read Reality before Catafalque so that the depth of the pointers to Parmenides and Empedocles are felt fully.
