First come, first served. The empires will decide as they see fit on the fate of their captured trophy. The ragnarok stew will be very hot, the blood of the enemies very cold. The very surprising flavors despite the bitterness of a scaly betrayal. Any time, any revenge where there will be a political and social cold. Warmth and heartbreak will be welcome at L'appéro des vavainurs this spring. Bad alliances always trigger the best results.

Cook's Choice: Soup of remorse hot smoke deer antler crown napalm walnut. Beware of the reflux of such a purification, it would announce the downpour of fallen ashes to be expected for the next 4 years.

I would say no. Interesting ideas and nice worldbuilding, but Bakker fails to write an engaging plot and most of the characters are kind of flat, especially the girl who follows Achamian around in the second trilogy (it's like she was purposefully written to have no personality). There's also some dumb feminist stuff in it.

It's a shame because with some tweaking it could have been great, and there are good bits. The prologue and first chapter of the first book are still among my favorites out of any novel I've read.
