The Roman alphabet comes from ancient Greek which was a derivative of.. you guessed it, Phoenecian. Latin and Greek and by extent all Romance languages are semitic.

Most of the oldest copies we have of the books of the Hebrew Bible are in Greek. Aristotle and other Greeks created Jews in their modern form by writing the Torah and creating the idea of a Judean nationality.

Carl Rogers, John Bowlby, Albert Bandura and Erik Eriksson helped develop some classic theories without being too wishy washy, which is often the case with founders of certain psychological paradigms. In psychology it is usually more fruitful to look for certain concepts or theories that interest you, and then looking for literature regarding that topic; rather than reading specific authors.
