He was an enormous influence on Borges and practically created the foundation of modern mathematics singlehandedly with his set theory and cardinality. His work is very important in philosophy of mathematics. Have you read him?

I haven't read him directly but transfinite induction is pretty cool.

>philosophy of mathematics
lol
lmao even

why read about x
when you can read x?
'philosophy of mathematics' is fundamentally anti mathematical because math gives us predictive power and philosophy of [...] doesnt
same with physics and philosophy of physics
its just grifters with humanities degrees trying to grift the near unlimited success of stem fields
same with 'social science', 'political scientists' etc etc
why do they call themselves scientists? do they have predictive power like scientists? do they practice empirical, scientific methods like scientists?
ofcourse not

Phusics and philosophy have nothing in common. Abstract math is basically advanced analytic philosophy. Both fields have roots in logic.

>philosophy is basically the same as math bro
then why does nsa hire math phds but not philosophy phds? why do most successful hedge funds hire math phds but not philosophy phds? why do most successful aeronautical institutes and all these advanced high tech research facilities hire math phds but not philosophy phds?
>its all just basically the same bro, its the same thing bro, there's no difference dude bro
no

Maths doesn't give us predictive power, physics does

>can't see past society psyops and artifices
The same reason why you don't hire an idealist to teach philosophy of language. The same reason why topologists aren't hired to teach combinatorics.

he was refuted by Rene Guenon (pbuh)

He made Kronecker seethe which will never not be hilarious.

I like him and set theory, but I think cardinality was a wrong step which only "works" if you assume the axiom of choice, which is cringe. Nevertheless, his work is based, constructivists and finitists can fuck right off
