Basically all I've read of it is the Hitchhikers Guide series years ago, plus a few short stories like The Last Question and Usher II

You might like the Dying Earth stories by Jack Vance, also Ports of Call by the same author. I just read The Spirit Phone by Arthur O'Keefe, that was pretty good. And of course Gene Wolfe's Book of the New Sun series.

That’s because /lit/ is getting filled with /pol/tards and zoomers who don't read. No one here has real ambitions as a writer, either, since they all go the easy route with self-pubbing. Crit threads used to have people who came from nothing but wanted to be published by the Big Four. Now all the catalog is filled with is the same low-effort thread by a few autist who have no lives.

Whatever you want... It's not really a consolidated literary tradition since it's had so many fads and surges in popularity, and the definition of "sci fi" is pretty broad to a lot of people, sometimes boiling down to "fiction about the possibilities of technology."
