How long was the page length of each book and how dense were they

If you're speed reading easy shit to hit an arbitrary number you're a pseud

It's better to read a few books a year that are very dense and a 1000 pages long than dozens of empty nonsense pop

Started re-reading one of my favourite childhood series. Only read one of them so far and it's the only book I've read from beginning to end this year. I'm currently reading a doorstopper and it takes me months to read anything over 500 pages and this is 700, but I started it just after the new year so I hope I finish it because God knows I have a problem with long books. The beginning of the year is usually slower than the latter, personally. Not necessarily less reading, but fewer books finished. Anyways, it's one. One measly YA book. I should pick up the second in the series just to boost my morale.

I finished 7 books, but I also read 700 pages of The Bible (I never went to church before or learned about christianity) and 700 pages of The Journey To The West (I read some chapters between other books)

It's not a competition retard. If you want to read 100 pages a day then dedicate the time required. If you're not willing to treat it like work then just stop asking.
