I guess Blood Meridian. I haven‘t read it since I was 20 a decade ago but most of what I‘ve read since doesn‘t fall into the category of novel (ancient epics and mythological analysis mainly.) Gravity‘s Rainbow is a fierce comeupper but I‘ve been chipping away at that for years.
