Why subhuman mitwits here love to deny that the fundamentals of the aesthetics of a text, those are, typography, layout, colors, spacing and leads, are of vital importance to the enjoyiment of a text.

There's a huge diference between my enjoyment when I read a book that had a fucking graphic designer on the team, over the walls of text garbage writers will produce.

Because those are superficial, incidental qualities that are not literary per se. It's fine to be an appreciator of well-made, nice-looking books, but when people act too precious about they tend to come across as lacking interest in the actual content.
