Jesus says and does different things in different testaments. 3/4 testaments claim Jesus was the son of god and he's a smug motherfucker during the whole execution. He tells the others being crucified that he will see them in heaven. He tells God to forgive them (the Romans, not the jews) because they dont know what they're doing, etc. The Gospel of Luke is different. Luke didnt claim Jesus was the son of god, but a regular guy, and what happened to him was awful. So Jesus doesnt say anything to anyone during the whole crucifixion until the end, when he says god has forsaken him. Luke never thought Jesus died for our sins, but that Jesus was a good man nonetheless. Luke plays up the tragedy.
