No, but there is something almost like that. A lot of people live almost like an instinct based life, whenever they get a feeling from their brain, be it hunger, sex drive, desire to buy things, they act without ever questioning it. For example, for a long time I was obsessed with the girl I lost my virginity to, and so, a pattern of behavior emerged out of my desperation to keep her around, I was doing a lot of things on "automatic" mode, things that would not even benefit or make sense in any kind of way to a self aware person (like social media stalking), luckily I got better because I had good friends who forced some introspection into me

Sorry OP but it seems your thread has been raised by redditors and/or bots. There’s plenty of books on brainwashing, I would recommend starting with Rape of the Mind, once you give that a look on Amazon you’ll find a bunch of other related works. Maybe not exactly what you’re looking for but just my 2 cents.
