Trying to do reading group with friends who are smart but also normies. One of them proposed "white fragility" and I vetoed that suggestion and we wound up reading "the Warmth of Other Suns" WoOS is, imho anyway, actually a pretty good book, and interesting to hear about bad shit that happened.

Now trying to figure out next book. Autobiography of Malcolm X? Bury My Heart at Wounded Knee? Something by James Baldwin? City of Quartz by Mike Davis?

I'm fine reading a lefty book I disagree with, I just don't want to read full on grifter retardation like White Fragility.

WTF should we read?

The Autobiography of Malcolm X and The Speeches of Malcolm X are garbage written by other people and not himself. If you want to see Malcolm X in his entirety find the speeches he gave before 1964.

Yeah, it's a cool thing to do with friends, as opposed to just watching another fucking movie.

What do you do with your friends, anon.... oh, sorry, I forgot....

Well congratulations. You're wish is granted.

Here's a lesson for you: women can be (1) nice, kind people who are good friends and (2) have dumb taste in books because they live in a dumb pozzed culture and work at dumb pozzed companies so they don't know any better.

One can make the world a better place by proposing better, non - retard books, or give up. I'm picking option one, and you are picking option two.

IF YOU REALLY REGARDED THOSE AVTOMATA AS YOUR FRIENDS, YOU WOULD RECOMMEND ACTUAL LITERATURE TO THEM, AND PROPOSE THEM TO READ IT, INSTEAD OF ENABLING THEIR BAD TASTE WITH PSEUDOPOLITICAL IDEOLOGICAL PAMPHLETRY.

Oh good, the ALL CAPS retard has entered the chat. Autobiography of Malcolm X is an important book. If you disagree, then you are stupid and you need to re-evaluate life. Then focus on graduating high school Then strive to be less retarded. In fact, just focus on the not being retarded part.

Since when was Malcolm X woke? He was never really embraced by the liberal/leftoid crowd, at least no until recently, and his ideas are still pretty incendiary. Do you think Malcolm would support something as woke as transgenderism or gay rights? I don't think so. Malcolm did not believe America could be fixed or rehabilitated the way the woke crowd thinks today. That it's all just a matter of getting rid of "deplorables" and "structural oppression" and once we get rid of bad rednecks and their silly ideas America will be a nice wonderful utopia. If anything he was much closer to John Brown, America is a sin and it can only be fixed by tearing it apart and purging it in some kind of second American revolution, one that would be as violent and uncompromising as what was going on in Algeria or Vietnam. The man openly identified as a black nationalist, if he were walking the earth today the liberal crowd would hate his guts.

I quite enjoy this. It’s about the history between Anthropology/Archaeology and Native Americans. It’s a little outdated because it mentioned some things that was going on during the writing of the book and no 2nd editions came out, so they remain unresolved in it. Again, I found it very enjoyable and i hope you and your harem of women do aswell.

Do you guys take fiction? If so I’ll recommend Native son. It’s basically Crime and punishment with bix nood and the gang. But as a warning, it’s ends standing on a soapbox, which is lectured by a commie white guy.

You don't seem to understand. People that espouse the same rhetoric black nationalist types like Malcom were saying back in the 60s get standing ovations today by white liberals. White liberals hear a story of a mentally handicapped man being kidnapped and tortured on video all because of skin color and still way adamantly say "You cannot be racist towards white people, white people cannot be victims of hate crimes"

TOP KEK

Go back to Africa you dumb, violent animals. Europe does not want you, and you are a plague to the US for hundreds of years. Do you know that the majority of violent crime would be gone overnight if all the blacks were deported? Even moreso for Western Europe.

If you aren't aware of these things just yet it is because the corporate mainstream media lies to you all day and you haven't yet escaped them. They won't show you the daily footage of savage black violence (beating toddlers, strangling old people, bashing them on the head with bricks for fun, etc.), and if they ever do bring it up, they will claim it is "socioeconomic factors" (easily refuted by anyone with a non-negroid IQ).

Kinda, not written by him, released after his death. Excerpts from his autobiography were released when he was alive in an edition of The Saturday Evening Post. But I would still take the whole thing with a grain of salt. Couple it with reading and listening to his speeches and interviews to get a better understanding of him.

Also read Garvey

I greatly enjoyed the Autobiography of Malcolm X. He goes through quite a journey where he finds and ultimately rejects many different "truths". I don't know how objective it is since it was written by his friend, but it's not a particularly objective story anyway, although it is about a man's search for objectivity or something related. It paints a vivid picture of some historical scenes and is short and refreshing to read.
